FACILITIES

United Exercise was developed and founded by James Biddle in 2010 and from there has literally gone from strength to strength, in 2018 United was sold to United Strength and Conditioning Ltd owned by Wayne Lakin.

 

Wayne has been in the industry for over 25 years and has worked for some of the leading fitness operators and providers in the country, Including SLM, Places For People, Simply Gym, Moathouse Hotels, and Leicester Tigers to name a few.

"As a former Full Time Team GB Athlete, British & Commonwealth Champion, Personal Trainer and now Manager I feel like I have the experience to put together a venue and team that will not only let you feel at ease but to help you reach your goals in a timeframe to suit."

​Here at united we feel we are big enough to cope with all your training needs but we want to keep the core community values at heart. We want you to feel comfortable to come in and train, ask questions and to feel at home. We are not running a numbers game so every member will feel that this gym is for them!

Our team of personal trainers at United will be able to help you reach your training and nutrition goals. Each personal Trainer will offer something different so it will be best to contact each of them personally to discuss your requirements. Im Sure that within our dedicated private PT studio we have the environment for you to excel.

Weights at Gym

FREE INDUCTION

We want you to get the most out of your training, whether you are a beginner or an experienced trainer we understand that some of the kit may be new to you. Upon joining you can book in for a free induction to help you on your way. 

If you feel your good to go then please feel free to train at your leisure but if you do get stuck were only a shout a way.

If you feel you want that little bit more, maybe motivation or a plan to stick to then why not book in with one of our team of personal trainers who will guide you through your training and nutrition

CLASSES

We understand that the gym might not be for everyone... We have carefully selected a group exercise programme that will bring out the best in you!

Classes are Free for members unless otherwise stated and whilst the majority require no booking, the odd class like our group cycling will require booking to ensure you reserve your bike! To book onto one of our fitness classes please contact us and we'd be happy to help.
